ROULETTE TABLE LAYOUT AND HOW TO BET
The Roulette game is played using a Roulette wheel and a table. The roulette wheel used in this specific game is European and consists of 37 different pockets. 36 of them are marked with numbers 1 to 36 and have alternating black and red backgrounds, while the last number is marked ‘0’ and has a green background. The ‘0’ on the reel represents the casino’s edge of 2.7% above the players.
The table consists of two parts; the inner part of the table and the outer part of the table. Stakes can be placed on each part.
OUTER PART OF THE TABLE
The outer part of the table is represented in green and consists of grouped stakes. These include sections “1st 12”, “2nd 12”, “3rd 12”, “1 to 18”, “Even”, “Red”, “Black”, “3rd 12”, “Odd” and “19 to 36” plus each ‘2 to 1’ column insert.
INNER PART OF THE TABLE
The inside of the Roulette table consists of a grid marked with numbers 1 through 36. Each number is circled in either black or red depending on the color that the number corresponds to on the Roulette wheel.
STRAIGHT UP BETS
If you choose to place bets on individual numbers, you must move the arrow over the specific number and select it individually.
INVEST ON NUMBERS
Corner Bets: You can bet on four numbers by placing your chip in the middle of the dividers between four numbers.
Line Bets: Similar to ‘street’ bets, but when you bet this way you bet on 2 rows of 3 numbers. For example: 1-6, 4-9, 7-12, 13-18 and 31-36.
Snake Bet: This specific bet takes its name from the snake-like pattern formed when you bet on numbers 1, 5, 9, 12, 14, 16, 23, 27, 30, 32 and 34.
Basket Bet: When you place a ‘basket’ bet, which is also known to many casino enthusiasts as the ‘first four’ bet, you bet the numbers 0-1-2-3.
Voisins du Zero: When you select ‘Voisins du Zero’ you will be able to bet on a number group located on the section of the Roulette wheel that is next to zero. When you choose to bet this way, you will bet on the following numbers: 22, 18, 29, 7, 28, 12, 35, 3, 26, 0, 32, 15, 19, 4, 21, 2 and 25.
Orphelins: If you select the ‘Orphelins’ button you will be able to bet on a selection of numbers found next to each other on the wheel. These are: 1, 20, 14, 9, 17, 34 and 6.
Tiers: If you select the ‘Tiers’ bet, you can place 12-bet bets between the 27-pocket and the 33-pocket which are on the opposite side of the zero on the wheel. These include bets on the numbers: 27, 13, 36, 11, 30, 8, 23, 10, 5, 24, 16 and 33.
Neighbor bet: If you click on the ‘Neighbor Bet’ button, you will be able to wager a 5 part straight up bet. This involves placing a chip on any specific number plus 4 of the neighbors. For example, if I select the number 5 as the center of my ‘call’ bet, the neighboring numbers I would have chosen would be 10, 23, 24 and 16.
